The Sunshine Grid Project

South Florida is one the fastest growing cities in the nation. With the population rapidly rising and climate change becoming a major concern, it is without a doubt that urbanization will occur. More upscale buildings and larger housing complexes are being built and public transportation has become more accessible. However, with these major changes also comes a high probability of obstacles and negative outcomes arising. The natural environment and the citizens themselves are especially at risk of facing these problems. It is our mission to research in-depth about the urbanization development controversy in South Florida and learn both the positive and negative effects. We also hope to seek a more clear vision as to what the future holds for South Florida and the residents.
